Vintage Season's Greetings

My first love in card making is the "vintage" style .  On the top of my list of favorite companies for vintage style paper is Pion Designs of Sweden.  I just love the soft muted colors and pretty vintage scenes they offer within their seasonal papers.  This card has the "eye flavor" of a milk chocolate cherry cordial candy.  During Christmas was a rare time when we had candy in the house.  Chocolate covered cherries were a seasonal favorite.  They definitely took a back seat  though to seasonal homemade Scandinavian goodies like rosettes and sailors buckles.  I purchase Pion Design paper from Frantic Stamper.  I highly recommend the 12 x 12" sheets which have 4 different coordinated patterned backgrounds on each that you cut them apart for your card-making.
